Trinity’s fully stand alone CCTV camera system allows you to monitor and secure your site or remote location from any internet connected device.
Technical details and options
The system has its own battery charged via an on-board solar panel. This allows it to run indefinitely without refuelling or recharging from the mains – making it ideal for isolated sites. It also means the system is completely silent with no noisy generators or hazardous fuel stored on site. The power system is designed for NZ conditions and is fully compliant with NZ electrical regulations.
Ultra Low Light day and night camera
The system utilises Hikvision’s Dark Fighter ultra low light bullet camera which is well suited for this type of application. The camera records at 1080P HD (high definition) resolution at up to 60 frames per second. The camera can continue to produce colour images right down to 0.002 lux before switching to black and white mode and its night time performance has to be seen to be believed! This ensures high quality images of all site activity.
The Dark Fighter camera also includes Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. This feature allows you to easily search and view vehicle licence plates as well as triggering events such as sending an email if the camera recognises a licence plate on its white or black list.
Lens options include either a 2.8-12mm or 8-32mm electronically adjusted varifocal lens depending on the site requirements.
The camera records to an on board SD card which will store at least a week’s site activity before beginning to overwrite the oldest footage first. Alternatively an optional NAS can be included for longer storage capacity. Footage can be easily saved and exported.
Smart detection and analytics
Using Hikvision’s latest Smart 2.0 suite of smart detection features the camera can be set up to notify you of any unwanted after hours visitors to site. Simply arm the system via the smart phone app when leaving site.
Smart detection can be set up to notify you of two types of events:
- Intrusion detection – the system analyses any moving objects in the picture and if the moving object enters a predetermined area for a set amount of time the camera will send a push notification to the user’s smart phone. This is perfect for in-progress construction sites as the intrusion areas can be adjusted remotely as the site changes rather than having to move hardware around the site or risk the detector being blocked by moving plant/barriers.
- Line crossing – the system analyses any moving objects in the picture and notifies users if the object crosses the line. Individual alarms can be set for crossing each way. Ideal for gate monitoring after hours.
Pole mount ready
The system is housed in an industrial grade IP rated enclosure supported by a rugged pole mount frame. A pole can also be supplied at an additional cost.
An industrial grade 4G GSM modem with 3G failover runs on Sparks LTE network allows you to connect to the system from virtually anywhere – as long as the camera is in an area with good Spark network coverage. You can use Sparks tool check if coverage is available in your location.
